Picturessss!

At church - this is the door to the library/ Sunday School room.
This is the window the gasoline and matches were thrown through.
Part of the library/ Sunday School room. As you can see, not everything was burned (thank you Lord) but most of the books smell like gas and smoke still. Not sure how much they are going to keep and how much they will throw away. Knowing Russians, my bet is on the keeping side...
On a lighter note, here is Rusik with one of the chickens in his backyard. I love this kid! He's 5 years old and loves ice cream and talking.

Ok, time for my Russian lesson and Inna's English lesson! I'll update more thoroughly later tonight. Yay for consistent internet here at Inna's!

    Jordan!!! I just read all of your Russia entries and they filled me with so much joy! The Lord has been so good to you and blessed you with such amazing people there :) Continue to be strong and faithful on this long and tiring journey. It's Wednesday today, the smack-dab-middle of the week; I didn't sleep again last night. Staying Outside

So welcome to mid-September, when pumpkin drinks make their annual debut and candy corn lines the outer walls of grocery stores. But have you stepped outside in Georgia lately? It's still really summer, guys. I always have this frustration with our refusal to see a season all the way through. There might be some mornings when, if you wake up early enough, the dew on the grass and chill in the air talk to you about autumn. But I say let's be here now, in our summer selves, barefoot and warm in the sunshine. Autumn will come soon enough. School will get busier, fall races will be run, pools will close. But for now we have the magic of trees green and lush, tomatoes fresh from the ground, and a sun that flushes cheeks, and my soul isn't ready to come back inside yet.
